Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 2 coming to PS Vita

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 2, a remake of Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, is in development for the PlayStation Vita, Idea Factory and Compile Heart announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2013.

According to Dengeki Online, the developers said that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re; Birth 2 is a placeholder name and the game's final title hasn't been decided upon. The original Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 was initially released in Japan on August 2011 for PlayStation 3 and later launched in the U.S. and Europe on February 2012. Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 is a sequel to Hyperdimension Neptunia, a role-playing game which launched in Japan in August 2010 for PlayStation 3, and North America and Europe on February and March 2011, respectively.

NIS America published the third installment of the Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise, Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory, in North America and Europe in March.
