Rocksmith 2014 trailer talks learning guitar through arcade games
The Guitarcade games each require the player to apply a particular guitar skill to progress. Ducks Redux asks the player to play the correct fret to shoot a matching duck before it escapes, Scale Racer has players escape from the police by playing guitar scales quickly and Gone Wailin’ tests players’ ability to control the volume at which they play.
Rocksmith 2014 also features a new Score Attack mode, which is more reminiscent of the gameplay in rhythm games like Guitar Hero or Rock Band.
Rocksmith 2014 hits PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC on Oct. 22. In the meantime, check out our report on the game and its development.
