Mojang announced today that its virtual strategy collectible card game, Scrolls, will receive a "hefty update" in October that includes Judgment mode, spectating tools, more than 40 new scrolls and new customization options.
Judgment mode, which was already detailed earlier this month, will be released with updates and tweaks. Mojang also teased 18 new scrolls that, while not yet finalized, give us a taste of the kinds of units, spells and actions that will be introduced with the new update. Spectator mode will allow players to watch matches between their friends or the highest-ranked players on the server, and players will have the option to turn it off if they don't want others to view their matches.
Scrolls is currently in open beta for Windows PC and Mac.
