Worms Revolution Extreme hitting Oct. 8

Worms Revolution Extreme for PlayStation Vita has been given a release date of Oct. 8 and a PlayStation Network price of $14.99.

Team 17's action-puzzle game features a 72-level single player campaign across seven environments including Sewer, Farmyard, Spooky, Beach, Mars, Funfair, and Medieval. Four-player online multiplayer battles are also available as well as a social Treasure Mode that allows for virtual gift exchanges.

The game can also be cross-played with Worms Revolution for PS3, which is currently on offer at a 50 percent discount to PS Plus members.
