NIS America released a series of trailers for Nippon Ichi Software's strategy role playing game, Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, offering players the latest look at the title's gameplay.
Featuring characters from the first game in the series, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, the new game includes a revamped character and personality creation system. Dual audio voicing and a new Master and Pupil System have also been included. Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness also features an Item World, a battleground where players can power up weapons, items and characters.
Originally released in Japan in March, the strategy role playing game will launch on Oct. 8 in North America and Sept. 27 in Europe for the PlayStation 3. Additional DLC for the title is planned for release at a later date. It was revealed earlier this month that Disgaea 4 Return, a PlayStation Vita port of Disgaea 4, will launch in Japan on Jan. 30, 2014.
