Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn players have the opportunity to earn Final Fantasy 13 costumes in a brand new event starring the trilogy's pink-haired heroine, Square Enix announced today.
A new quest created in collaboration with the development team of Lighting Returns: Final Fantasy 13 sends players into battle alongside Lightning — dressed in her original Final Fantasy 13 soldier outfit — to defeat a string of deadly monsters.
In addition to scoring the traditional loot and rewards, players who successfully complete the mission will also snag gear and weapons featured in 2009's Final Fantasy 13. Female characters will get Lightning's outfit, while male characters will receive Snow Villier's beige trenchcoat and headband get-up from the first game.
