TaleWorlds release Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord screenshots and artwork

TaleWorlds Entertainment has released new alpha screenshots and concept art of its medieval action-role-playing strategy game, Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord.

The game is set within the crumbling Calradic Empire, which is being threatened by three factions following its Emperor's death: mercenary companies, bandit lords and nomads. Players are giving the option of uniting the fractured Calradic Empire or destroy it completely.

The Turkish game studio officially announced Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord in September 2012 alongside a teaser trailer release. You can view the concept art and high resolution screenshots on the official TaleWorlds website.

According to TaleWorlds Entertainment's initial announcement, the game endeavours to take players on "a journey into a fiction world of up-close and personal medieval combat."

Bannerlord is the sequel to action role-playing game Mount & Blade: Warband, which was developed by TaleWorlds and published by Paradox Interactive on March 2010 for Windows PC. The series began with the release of Mount & Blade on Windows PC in 2008.
