Blizzard Entertainment's free-to-play Warcraft card game, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, will receive an upcoming patch that brings with it "a wealth of bug fixes and quality of life improvements" for the game, which is currently in beta.
In a post on the Hearthstone official website, Blizzard's Christina "Zeriyah" Sims outlines some of the more important changes coming in the beta update. Those include class changes that affect the Rogue, Warrior and Priest in an attempt to level the playing field across those characters.
Blizzard is also adding some improvements to the way crafting is handled and social features are presented. "We've updated the UI for our crafting system, so making cards for your collection should be even easier than before," Sims writes. A streamlined chat and new "toasts" that broadcast the accomplishments of friends are also forthcoming.
A longer rundown can be read at the Hearthstone blog. The beta update will coincide with an account wipe that will reset players' progress. More information on the account wipe can be read here.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is in closed beta on Windows PC and Mac. The game is planned for release on those platforms and iOS in 2013.
