Dark Souls 2 beta begins Oct. 12 in North America and Europe

The first playable beta round for Dark Souls 2 on PlayStation 3 begins on Oct. 12 in North America, Europe and Australia, Namco Bandai announced today.

This will be followed by a second round starting Oct. 27. Those interested can go to the PlayStation Network website to register and receive a ticket to access the beta, while additional information can be found on the official Facebook page for Dark Souls.

Dark Souls 2 is slated to come to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC in March 2014.
