Nintendo announced today it is lowering the price of three of its best-selling Wii titles, Super Mario Galaxy 2, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Wii Sports Resort, which starting today are available for $29.99 each.
All three games can also be played on Wii U systems. According to Nintendo press release, the new pricing is representative of "one of the many steps Nintendo is taking to provide shoppers with the best value and variety across all its systems through the end of 2013."
This follows news last month of Nintendo's plans to lower to price of Wii U Deluxe from $349.99 to $299.99. Nintendo's announcement did not mention the Basic Set, which it began pulling from some retail outlets earlier this year, however.
