Sony Japan PS4 press briefing being livestreamed with English translation

Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia is holding a press briefing Sept. 9, and the event will be livestreamed on the European PlayStation Blog with an English translation, according to the PlayStation Europe Twitter account.

Sony announced the press briefing last month, saying that it would be livestreamed in Japanese with updates going out on the PlayStation Japan Twitter account. The show is said to be focused on Japan-centric news, and will begin at 3 p.m. Japan Standard Time (2 a.m. ET). It will take place 10 days before the start of the 2013 Tokyo Game Show, which runs from Sept. 19-22.

While the PlayStation 4 has concrete release dates in North America (Nov. 15) and Europe (Nov. 29), Sony has yet to announce when the console will be available in Japan.
