State of Decay headed to Steam Early Access in 'a couple weeks or so'

State of Decay is headed to PC through Steam Early Access "in a couple of weeks or so," according to an update posted earlier this week on developer Undead Labs' Facebook page.

The initial release will include a controller-only version, followed by Sandbox mode and then "the full mouse and keyboard PC version on Steam."

Though no details about specs were included in the post, Undead Labs brought the PC version of State of Decay to PAX Prime last week "to show off how pretty SoD looks on a PC" using a "normal machine with two-year old components, running the game on the medium settings."
