Space simulation role playing game, Starpoint Gemini 2, is now available from Steam Early Access for $19.99 on Windows PC, Iceberg Interactive and developer LGM Games revealed.
The price includes early access to the game's alpha build and a copy of Starpoint Gemini. As Starpoint Gemini's sequel, Starpoint Gemini 2 offers 50 different factions, more than 100 "commodities" to trade or plunder and more than 70 upgradable ships, which can be equipped with a variety of weapons. Gameplay consists of real-time 3D combat and players can navigate a whole game world - rather than individual maps as in the previous game - using T-Gates, wormholes and rift ways as fast travel options.
Players can hire mercenary captains and employ officers for engineering, navigation, tactical positions. According to the game's description, missions are generated randomly depending "on the player's actions and allegiances."
