Grasshopper Manufacture's newest title is Lily Bergamo, coming 2014

Extreme action game Lily Bergamo is the newest title coming from Grasshopper Manufacture and GungHo, slated to launch in Japan sometime in 2014 on PlayStation 4, it was announced at Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia's Press Conference 2013 today.

Grasshopper Manufacture boss Goichi "Suda51" Suda and GungHo president Kazuki Morishita revealed concept art for the upcoming action role-playing title in April. Suda told Polygon at the time that the title is the result of GungHo giving him "complete creative freedom."

"This is a good thing because now I can focus more on the creative side," Suda told Polygon in April. "GungHo is providing me with complete creative freedom. I've worked with multiple publishers in the past, but I don't think there are many presidents out there who will provide such freedom to their development team.

Publisher GungHo Group bought developer Grasshopper Manufacture in January. Morishita told Polygon that the company bought Grasshopper for its uniqueness and originality and has no interest in changing it.

More details on Lily Bergamo is expected to be shared during Tokyo Game Show this month.
