GameStop shoppers who pre-order Call of Duty: Ghosts with the retailer will net a coupon for Eminem's next album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, Activision just announced via press release.
The partnership follows the inclusion of an Eminem track titled "Survival" in the world reveal of Call of Duty: Ghosts' multiplayer component. By using the download voucher included with the pre-order, users can buy the album at a discounted price of $8.99, and grab an exclusive studio track not available on the retail version of The Marshall Mathers LP 2. This discount joins the other pre-order bonuses from GameStop, including a multiplayer map, a double XP weekend and a character skin modeled after Simon "Ghost" Riley from Modern Warfare 2.
According to a quote in the press release from GameStop VP of merchandising Bob Puzon, Call of Duty: Ghosts is "on track to be the most pre-ordered title of the year." The game launches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and Windows PCs on Nov. 5, the same release date as The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Ghosts will also launch alongside the PlayStation 4 on Nov. 15, and on Xbox One Nov. 22.
