PlayStation Plus gets free Galaga Legions DX, discounts on Call of Duty

PlayStation Plus subscribers will have Galaga Legions DX, the downloadable, remade arcade classic for PS3 from Namco Bandai, added to their Instant Game Collections this week according to a post from PlayStation Blog.

It's the only free game added to Plus members' accounts this week, but it's joined by several discounts. Dragon Fantasy Book 2, the indie RPG for PS3 and PS Vita, will be on sale for $11.99 (down from $14.99). The most recent Call of Duty games — from Modern Warfare to Black Ops 2 — and their respective DLC bundles are also on sale this week. Rounding out the list is Aliens: Colonial Marines, which will be marked down to $8.99 during the week; its DLC will be discounted, too.

Users who haven't grabbed Metal Slug XX or Pinball Arcade from the Instant Game Collection should do so soon; it will disappear with next week's PlayStation Plus update. Check out PlayStation Blog for the full timetable.
