Publisher 505 Games and developer Plastic Piranha revealed a map-making contest for Rekoil today that allows players to design maps and win gaming hardware.
The contest winner who designs the best map will receive an Alienware Aurora gaming desktop, TactX Keyboard, TactX Mouse, TactX Headset and a Dell UltraSharp monitor. Interested modders can sign up at the game's official website, learn more at the Rekoil map making mod competition's website and get the legal details on the Rules and Regulations page. The winner will be announced March 20.
Rekoil is set for a Jan. 28 release on Windows PC and a Jan. 29 release on the Xbox 360 Games Store, where it will be known as Rekoil: Liberator.
