When Call of Duty: Ghosts' first downloadable content, Onslaught, is released Jan. 28, it will bring four new maps, a new weapon and Halloween's Michael Myers to the first-person shooter.
A map called Fog is set on alongside a lake and designed as "an homage to classic horror films" filled with an eerie campsite, flickering TVs and more. By completing a certain Field Order, players can become Michael Myers, the masked slasher from the Halloween series of horror films. Other players will learn of the transformation when the Halloween theme music begins to play.
The Bayview map is designed for close quarters and set on a California boardwalk. Containment is set in a Mexican village that contains a truck leaking radioactive material. The final map, Ignition, takes place in a Florida facility designed for space launches and is "inspired by" Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Scrapyard map.
Onslaught will also arm players with a new weapon, the Maverick, which players can use as either an assault or sniper rifle.
Finally, the DLC will bring the first of four episodic, narrative expansions to the game's alien-centered Extinction mode. Episode 1: Nightfall is set in the Alaskan wilderness where the Nightfall Program researched the aliens menace's origins.
Onslaught will launch Jan. 28 for $14.99 on Xbox consoles and on other platforms thereafter. Check out the video above to see the contents of the DLC in motion.
