Battlefield 4 Xbox 360 update hits today, fixes glitches across the board

DICE is rolling out another update for Battlefield 4 on Xbox 360 today to improve the title's general stability and make a number of other fixes, according to a post on Battlelog.

The patch fixes implemented with updates pushed earlier this week for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 versions of the game. Soldiers dying with one health point instead of zero, blood appearing before other damage indicators during kills, scoreboard rank icons and health amounts not updating live and friendly markers not always appearing — resulting in players shooting teammates — have all be rectified.

Repair rates across vehicles are now normalized, with lower-health vehicles now repairing more slowly, and handling attributes for Attack and Stealth jets have been tweaked. Camera and animation glitches plaguing players moving in a crouch and switching from first to third-person view have also been fixed. The M1 Abrams Coaxial HMG ammo box will not longer block a driver's camera, Stealth Jet 20mm cannon have had their damage increased 25 percent, engine sound dropout has been tweaked and animation glitches in the China Rising DLC occurring when motorbike passengers aim are no longer an issue.

The post notes that Xbox 360 users may experience some downtime in Battlefield 4 while the update is implemented. DICE is continuing to push patches for Battlefield 4 across platforms as the game approaches its third month since launch.
