Moonbot launches Lollipop 3: Eggs of Doom on iOS

Lollipop 3: Eggs of Doom, the latest game from the Oscar winners at Moonbot Studios, is now available on iOS, the company announced today.

In the cutesy arcade game, players take the role of the Kitten of Splendor and must catch and hatch the evil eggs that are falling from outer space. (Check out Eggs of Doom's intro movie below for an explanation from the game's lore.) The process brings wondrous creatures out of the eggs, like panda centaurs. But if you fail to catch the eggs, you'll have to deal with an army of Meanie Men. Unlockable upgrades provide assistance, like magnets that attract eggs.

Moonbot is known for The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, a cross-platform interactive project with a short film that won an Academy Award in 2012, as well as the Wonderbook game Diggs Nightcrawler. The studio's previous mobile games include The Scarecrow, which Moonbot produced in conjunction with Chipotle along with an animated short.

Lollipop 3: Eggs of Doom is a free-to-play title. You can download it from the iTunes App Store here.
