Carnivore Studio shares first teaser for Japanese horror title Kodoku

Indie developer Carnivore Studio shared the first teaser trailer for its current project today, anime-inspired survival horror Kodoku.

The trailer, posted above, is heavy-handed with its horror imagery: mutated pigs and human-scorpion creatures, decapitation and loads of blood. The imagery and presented subject matter is remniscient of Japanese horror flicks.

Kodoku is currently slated to launch for PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2015. The game's anime art style is accompanied by a storyline steeped in Japanese myths and folklore. Players will use a variety of magic and stealth skills to stay alive in a struggle against paranormal forces.

Currently there is very little information about Carnivore Studio, for which Kodoku appears to be its first project.
