GOG.com raised $1.9M for charity in 2013

Digital distributor of video games GOG.com announced today that its 2013 Charity Promo raised $1.9 million with the help of its customers.

The Charity Promo, which was held in Nov. 2013, allowed customers to pay $5 (or more) and choose three games from a list of ten. All proceeds from the purchase would go to one of three charities: WWF, Worldbuilders and Gaming for Good.

The list of games that buyers could choose from included Incredipede, Botanicula, Waking Mars, Driftmoon, The Whispered World, FTL, Oddworld, Darwina, Pid and Creatures Village.
