A selection of music-related games and movies will be on sale for the next week on the PlayStation Store, Sony announced today.

The sale includes PlayStation Portable, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 4 games, with cross-buy titles thrown into the mix. PlayStation Network users will get discounts of up to 50 percent off the regular price, while the discounts will go up to 75 percent for PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Games on sale include Queasy Games' Everyday Shooter (screenshot above) and Sound Shapes, as well as Harmonix's Rock Band Blitz and 24 Caret Games' Retro/Grade. Downloadable movies that are part of the sale include Detroit Rock City, Purple Rain, Spice World and The School of Rock. You can check out the full list of games and movies on the PlayStation Blog.

In addition, new Music Unlimited members will receive a free 60-day trial subscription to the streaming music service if they buy a game or movie that's on sale. Music Unlimited is the only way to listen to the music of your choosing while playing games on a PS4.
