Hitman: Contracts hits Steam as series goes on sale

New, 16 comments

Hitman: Contracts, the third installment in IO Interactive's stealth franchise originally released in 2004, is available now on Steam.

The release brings Agent 47 and the Windows PC version of the game to Valve's digital distribution service for $6.99. According to several customer reviews, Hitman: Contracts includes widescreen support and, despite an apparent initial bug, the game's soundtrack and voice acting.

Also on Steam, you can also buy the Hitman Collection, which corrals Hitman: Codename 47, Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution, for $8.99, an 80 percent discount off of the normal price of the bundled software.

Update: A previous version of this article referred to Hitman: Contracts as the second installment in the series. It is the third. We have corrected it and apologize for the error.
