The first Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z developer diary is now out, with a look at the initial concept, tools and plight of the cyber ninja Yaiba, with interviews from Team Ninja and Spark Unlimited.
The premiere episode, titled "Bloody Beginnings," includes interviews with the game's three developers Team Ninja, Comcept and Spark Unlimited who have collaborated to create the fusion of Japanese and Western game styles.
Featured commentary includes talks with executive producer Yosuke Hayashi, producer Kohei Shibata of Team Ninja, conceptor Keiji Inafune, producer Shinsaku Ohara, lead game designer Cory Davis of Spark Unlimited and lead gameplay engineer George Mawle.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is coming to PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Windows PC via Steam on March 4.
