Sony Pictures Television launches blackjack RPG Suits & Swords

Production company Sony Pictures Television is making another step into the games development arena with its first original free-to-play IP, blackjack-based RPG Suits & Swords, the company announced today.

The single-player game tasks the player with saving four environments made up of the Heart Union, Diamond Empire, Club Kingdom and Spade Nation, while combining the rules of blackjack in combat situations with the levelling and stats systems of role-playing games.

Sony Pictures Television has previous development experience developing mobile titles for pre-existing franchises, including Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Suits & Swords is available starting today, with additional microtransaction-based content to purchase.
