The latest trailer for MercurySteam's Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, released today by publisher Konami, introduces us to the game's cast of characters and the impressive voice talent behind it.
A significant portion of the cast consists of characters returning from the original Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, which was released in 2010. That includes — spoiler alert! — Dracula, formerly Gabriel Belmont (Robert Carlyle, Trainspotting); Zobek (Patrick Stewart, Star Trek: The Next Generation); Carmilla (Sally Knyvette, EastEnders); Marie (Natasha McElhone, Ronin) and Satan (Jason Isaacs, The Patriot).
Some characters, such as Alucard (Richard Madden, Game of Thrones), appeared in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate. Others, like Raisa Volkova (Alex Childs, Misfits), are completely new.
The trailer also showcases some previously unseen parts of Lords of Shadow 2, which will be available Feb. 25 on PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360.
