Sony Online Entertainment will offer PlanetSide 1 for free when its All Access pass becomes available this April, the studio announced today.
In a FAQ posted to the Sony forums, the developer said it would offer the massively-multiplayer first-person shooter for free to everyone when the All Access pass program rolls out "on or about April 2, 2014." It noted that there is no further development on the game.
SOE detailed its All Access pass earlier today. For a monthly payment of $14.99, pass holders gain access to SOE's portfolio of games. The company also announced today that it has halted development on four MMO titles: Free Realms, Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures, Vanguard: Saga of Heroes and Wizardry Online.
