EverQuest Next Landmark dev diary details crafting

A new developer diary for EverQuest Next creation tool, Landmark, shows off crafting stations and how players can build their own items.

In the video above, lead system designer Michael Mann explains that in Landmark, players will build all their own tools, furniture and more.

"We wanted to make the crafting system straightforward and pretty easy to use," Mann said. "But we also know that it's important to you guys and it's important to us that there's depth in the system."

To begin, players will first need to find a crafting station, which can be found throughout the game's world. EverQuest Next Landmark includes different kinds of crafting stations, such as altars — points that will yield better items for a short period of time.
