Metal Slug 3 launching on Steam in February

Run-and-gun arcade title Metal Slug 3 will be available via Steam in February, developer SNK confirmed to Polygon today.

Metal Slug 3, currently in beta, is listed on Steam. According to the game's description, the Steam version will include an arcade mode that features five stages and "multiple branching paths." It will also include stage selection options, online multiplayer with co-op and leaderboards.

System requirements suggest it will be a Windows PC-only title, though no platforms are listed.

Following its original arcade release, Metal Slug 3 was later ported to platforms such as Android, iOS, PlayStation 2, Wii, Xbox and Xbox 360.
