Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, the upcoming action game from Team Ninja, Spark Unlimited and Comcept, will feature a variety of alternate costumes on the disc and as downloadable add-ons, according to a new trailer for the game.
The Kabuki and Schoolgirl costumes are unlockable in the game. Instead of being a female character, the Schoolgirl is a man wearing a schoolgirl outfit. Three other character skins — Camouflage, Nuigulumar (the protagonist from the Japanese film Nuigulumar Z) and the previously announced crossover from Mighty No. 9 — are available as pre-order bonus DLC.
Publisher Tecmo Koei is going both ways with crossovers. Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate will receive Yaiba-themed skins for Ryu Hayabusa and Momiji in the Special Edition of Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z.
Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z is set for release March 18 on PlayStation 3, Windows PC and Xbox 360. You can see all the aforementioned costumes in the trailer below.
