Sony will launch a cross-platform, cloud-based live TV and video on demand service, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House announced at CES 2014 today.
According to House, the service will combine the features of live TV, video on demand and DVRs. Sony plans to test the service in the U.S. later this year.
House also announced a game-based streaming service that will play PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3 games. PlayStation Now is expected to arrive in summer 2014.
