CES 2014: The Steam Machines, PS4 news and crazy peripherals

The annual International Consumer Electronics Show sweeps through Las Vegas each year with thousands of exhibitors, hundreds of thousands of people and not a few gaming gadgets. We'll be on hand to sort through the televisions, cameras, tablets, smartphones and inexplicable doodads to write about the things you really care about, stuff you can play games on or with.

Regulars like Razer, Roccat, PowerA, Intel, Nvidia and Sony will be showing off their wares throughout the week. Valve also held a rare press conference about their Steam Machine movement this week. What you won't be seeing is Microsoft, which decided to give the annual show a pass for the first time in more than a decade. But don't worry, there will still be plenty to read about, gawk over and speculate on during the week.
