The Indie Prize Showcase in Amsterdam is accepting submissions from independent game developers until Jan. 10, it was announced today.
Established as a scholarship program for up and coming indie developers who show promise, the Indie Prize assists winning teams and individual developers with travel, lodging and catering expenses, and also offers workshops, covers showcase venue fees and provides mentorships. Past winners have included The Inner World, Clobbr, Ultimate Arrow and Blast Away.
The Indie Prize is awarded at various Casual Connect events each year, with 2013's shows taking place in Kyiv, San Francisco, Singapore and Hamburg. The first of 2014's showcases will appear at Casual Connect Amsterdam, with the Indie Prize awarded between Feb. 11-13.
Submissions can be made via the Indie Prize website. Games that have been submitted so far are also playable via the site.
