Get Even teaser trailer sets up a first-person shooter mystery

Deadfall Adventures developer The Farm 51 shared the first teaser trailer for its upcoming first-person shooter Get Even, demonstrating the title's melding of thriller and horror elements as we watch unnamed players explore an abandoned building.

The trailer, posted above, indicates that nothing may be what it seems in Get Even, as the building morphs to accommodate what looks like a giant glowing computer mainframe — only to shift back to the abandoned building. The remainder of the trailer follows three soldiers as they creep through the ruins towards what appears to be their demise.

Get Even was announced in December during the French Game Connection conference. Developer The Farm 51 is aiming to create a first-person shooter than blurs the line between single-player and multiplayer, allowing players' to jump into each other's campaigns at any time and impersonate enemies. Get Even's main storyline will follow the title's two main heroes, and players will be able to shape their tales and follow certain narrative paths depending on the characters' emerging personalities.

Get Even is slated to launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC in 2015.
