DICE Summit adds Keiji Inafune, Vlambeer, Oculus heads to speaker lineup

The 2014 DICE Summit added five more speakers to its lineup of presentations tackling the conference's theme, "The New Golden Age," organizers for The Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences announced today.

Speakers at the conference will now include Mega Man creator and Comcept head Keiji Inafune, Vlambeer's Rami Ismail, CCP Games CEO Hilmar Veigar Petursson and Oculus founder Palmer Luckey and CEO Brendan Iribe.

As part of a special session this year highlighting talks from the last DICE Europe, Petursson will reprise his talk "The Human Brain is the Platform — Gaming in the Golden Age." In the presentation, Hilmar will discuss the role of technological advancements in making the human mind the best gaming platform, how perceptions of reality have and will change over time and how technology blurs the line of our reality.

This new group of industry luminaries will join already-announced speakers including Journey composer Austin Wintory, The Fullbright Company's Steve Gaynor, former thatgamecompany producer and Funomena founder Robin Hunicke and Major League Gaming founder and CEO Sundance DiGiovanni.

The 2014 DICE Summit will take place in Las Vegas from Feb. 4 - 6.
