The PlayStation Vita is currently available in a new color — Crystal White — on Amazon for $199.

Technically, it's not a "new" color per se. The Crystal White unit was available previously, but only as part of a bundle in the fall of 2012 with Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation; Sony only released it as a stand-alone product in Japan.

The white PS Vita on sale at Amazon is the original model, which is equipped with a 5-inch OLED screen instead of the 5-inch LCD screen on the PCH-2000 model that was released in Japan last fall. We've reached out to Sony to find out if the company plans to make the Crystal White handheld available in wide release in North America, and will update this article with any information we receive.
