Long-running massively multiplayer game RuneScape is becoming a digital card game in the vein of Hearthstone with the upcoming release of Chronicle: RuneScape Legends, developer Jagex confirmed today.
Chronicle will take place within the pages of a "living book," the studio said in a prepared statement. The game will focus on quest building, allowing players to craft "miniature RPGs" against enemies and classic RuneScape bosses before entering into PvP.
Chronicle: RuneScape Legends is scheduled to launch in 2015 on Windows PC, Mac, tablet and mobile devices.
