Street Fighter is going mobile with a new game for Android and iOS platforms that looks like Capcom's take on mobile megahit Puzzle & Dragons. Dubbed Street Fighter: Puzzle Spirits, the game looks more like the gem-matching action of GungHo's runaway free-to-play hit than it does like Capcom's own Puzzle Fighter.
Street Fighter: Puzzle Spirits sees players matching colored gems to execute moves from fighters like Ryu, Chun-li, Ken and Cammy from Street Fighter 2, with characters like Ibuki and Juri representing newer Street Fighter games. The free-to-play game is described as a "fighting puzzle RPG."
No word yet on Puzzle Spirits coming stateside, but the game will be released in Japan sometime this winter.
