The game industry is still sorting out its problems with helping women feel in the wake of some terrible harassment, and Sony is helping in at least a tiny way by offering a mammoth "flash" sale of games and movies.
You can see the list of content for yourself, and there's some great stuff in there. Everything from Kill Bill to Bayonetta to Beyond Good and Evil to Mirror's Edge ... wait a minute, all of these games and movies star, or have leading roles for, women!
It's a pretty great gesture, and it works as a wonderful celebration of the women characters in games and film. What's even better is the fact that Sony isn't doing much to comment on the situation; the company just put this out there trusting its audience would pick up on it.
Bravo.
