This college wants you to apply your Dota skills to the real world

Popular multiplayer battle arena game Dota is now a subject of study for university students in China, CQ News reports.

The Chongqing Energy College is currently offering up a course titled "Recent Development of Electronic Sports and Analysis of Dota," which aims to analyze strategies in the game with the goal of applying these skills in the real world.

"Electronic sport courses cultivate their own ways of thinking, a sense of determination and coordination that remains indispensable long after their enter the working world," reads a translation from That's Magazine.

The course, which is limited to 90 students, has apparently seen up to 200 university-goers squeeze into the lecture hall, the report adds.
