A collection of new behind-the-scenes stills from the set of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope have been made available on IGN, offering a look at the making of the early sci-fi classic.
The pictures, which include notated script pages, details of a deleted scene, photos of characters who never made it to the finished film and pictures of some of the stars between takes, come from the personal collection of script supervisor Ann Skinner.
The release of these images follows the British Film Institute's opening of its newest exhibition "On-Set - Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope," which will be housed in the BFI's Atrium until Jan. 4.
The gallery can be viewed in full from IGN.
The next Star Wars film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, hits theaters in December 2015.
