Play Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor as a woman

A free "Power of Defiance" update for Warner's Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor features a new character skin that allows players to tackle the adventure as a woman.

The skin puts players in the skin of Lithariel, daughter of Lady Marwen, Queen of Nurn as she faces down the forces of evil.

Developed by Monolith, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is a highly regarded action role-playing game set in Tolkien's fantasy universe. The original setting for the game features a male lead, Talion. Similar to the other skins released (Black Hand and Dark Ranger) you can play the full game with the Lithariel skin, during gameplay. The story itself and cut-scenes won't change.

As well as the character skin, available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and via Steam today, the digital bundle comes with a Challenge Mode and Epic Rune.  The new challenge mode was developed specifically for Lithariel.
