Ubisoft suggests Assassin's Creed Unity players remove all game contacts to prevent crashes

While working through the issues plaguing Assassin's Creed Unity, developers discovered one of the issues that may be causing the game to crash at the main menu.

The crash usually happens after pressing the continue button and impacts all platforms, according to the update.

"The team is working hard on a fix for those players that have been affected by this," according to the post.

For players who haven't experienced the issue yet, Ubisoft "highly recommends" players do not add any in-game recent player as a game contact and if you already have game contacts, you remove them.

To remove contacts do the following, Ubisoft says:

My Brotherhood > My Contacts > Game Contacts (using RB/R1) > Focus on a Contact (LS) > More Actions (Y/Triangle) > Remove from contacts.

If you still experience a crash at the main menu ever after following those steps, Ubisoft asks you to file a support ticket.

We have, once again, reached out to Ubisoft for comment on how the game went live with this many problems and will update the story if they respond.
