Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below, is just two weeks away. Today, Bungie gives us an in-depth look at what we'll see in that add-on, which includes a new strike, a new raid, three multiplayer maps and a fresh injection of loot.
In the above video, Bungie shows off gameplay from Destiny's new six-player raid, Crota's End, and introduces Eris Morn, a maiden in black who serves as a vendor and the main quest-giver for The Dark Below's storyline. There's also footage of a new cooperative strike that's integrated into the expansion's storyline — PlayStation owners also get a timed exclusive strike, The Undying Mind — and a peek at the trio of new multiplayer maps: Pantheon, Skyshock and The Cauldron.
The Dark Below is the first of two announced expansions for Destiny. It arrives Dec. 9 and will be followed by House of Wolves next year. For more on The Dark Below, check out the add-on's opening cinematic.
