It's been awhile since we've seen a Call of Duty game that has taken more liberties with the long-running franchise's core DNA than this year's installment, Advanced Warfare. You don't have to look especially hard to find those liberties, either — grenades have never chased enemies down like persistent, eager birds of prey, and soldiers have never really jetpacked in any fashion.
