Dragonborn helmet from Skyrim would save you from an arrow to the head

Owen S. Good is a longtime veteran of video games writing, well known for his coverage of sports and racing games.

It's been a while since we checked in with AWE Me, the YouTube series that has shown us replicas of weapons from Fire EmblemGod of WarFinal Fantasy and Halo. For their latest creation, they traveled to armorers Baltimore Knife and Sword to bring back a familiar piece of headgear.

Behold the Dragonborn's helmet from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. If you like watching robust people pound away at glowing hot metal, the first four minutes of this are right up your alley. Then comes the detailing, which involves an actual pair of ram horns.

Because this is an AWE Me video, they can't go away without some badass slow-motion shots of weapons in action. The team takes the helmet out to show its strength against swords, a wheel of Jarlsberg cheese, and an arrow to the ... dome.

Baltimore Knife and Sword's creations can be seen in film and on stage "and at Renaissance festivals around the world."
