Splatoon gets a Q2 2015 release window and an inky new trailer

Splatoon, Nintendo's ink-filled third-person shooter, will arrive on Wii U in the second quarter of 2015, Nintendo CEO and President Satoru Iwata announced during a Nintendo Direct event today.

Revealed at E3 2014, Splatoon stars groups of children-turned-squids who battle to coat the swimmable multiplayer maps with their ink. Nintendo also released a new trailer for Splatoon, focused on the single-player campaign, which you can watch below.
