Blizzard's classic heroes from The Lost Vikings are coming to its multiplayer online battle arena game Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard president and co-founder Mike Morhaime announced at BlizzCon 2014 today.

Heroes of the Storm combines Blizzard's multiple franchises — Diablo, Warcraft and StarCraft — in a crossover real-time strategy action game. New heroes coming to the game, in addition to The Lost Vikings, include Warcraft's Thrall and Jaina. New battlegrounds announced at BlizzCon include the Sky Temple and the Tomb of the Spider Queen.

The Lost Vikings was originally released in 1992 for SNES, and later came to DOS, Amiga, Sega Genesis and Game Boy Advance.

Blizzard also announced that a closed beta for Heroes of the Storm will kick off Jan. 13, 2015.
