Tis the season to spend way too much money on hard-to-find video game related things, apparently.
Legless Princess Peach amiibo sells for $25,100 on eBay

A defective, still-in-package Princess Peach Amiibo sold for $25,100 on eBay this week after a nearly week-long bidding war that included 109 offers. This particular princess is missing her legs. The winning bidder has a rating of 132 and bid on this particular item nearly a dozen times, meaning there’s a very good chance the sale will be finalized.
The last two legless Princess Peach Amiibo to sell on eBay went for $1,852.07 and $242.50. There are currently another eight listed for sale on eBay. The highest is currently priced at $800.
Other recent Amiibo rarities include a Metroid Samus Amiibo with two right arms which sold for $2,500.
